Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a disc embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border, three diagonal stripes, white between green and yellow, from top left to bottom right, inscribed in the center following the white diagonal stripe JMH in green. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter.


Symbolism

The school colors are green and gold. Green signifies personal development and gold alludes to achievement and success. The design shares a similar appearance for all shoulder sleeve insignias that fall under the Dallas Independent School District to unite the spirit of academic excellence, while also allowing for a distinguishing characteristic for each school.

Shoulder Loop Insignia

Description

On a shield shaped gold metal and epoxied device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Argent, issuing from base a stylized demi- Trojan head in profile to sinister, couped at shoulder Or and throughout, plume, helm and cape Vert, detailed of the second. Attached at the bottom of the shield, a Green scroll inscribed TROJAN BATTALION in Gold.


Symbolism

The school colors are green and gold. The Trojan is the schools mascot, a symbolism of leadership, unity and strength. The Trojan proudly wears the school colors and marches forward to achieve victory in both academic and athletic courses.
