Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a shield-shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, blazoned as follows: Celeste, a stylized demi-cavalier affronte Sable throughout, top plume, face, highlights, and fimbriated Argent, armour and second plume Argent (Silver Gray), cape of the first, facial details of the second. Attached above the shield a light blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch black border inscribed CAVALIERS in white letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.


Symbolism

The school colors are Columbia blue and black. Blue refers to loyalty and unity, while black alludes to courage and strength. The cavalier is the schools mascot, a symbol of pride, honor, and chivalry. Hes facing forward and charging, an example of how students are prepared to take hold of opportunities and challenges for academic success.

Description

A silver color metal and epoxied shield shaped device, 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height, blazoned as follows: Celeste, a stylized demi-cavalier affronte Argent (Silver) throughout, garnished Sable. Attached below the shield a black scroll inscribed MONTCLAIR H.S. in silver.
