A green circular shaped embroidered item, surmounted on the upper right portion and throughout the item, a Green panthers head, in position, detailed and edged Black, below the panthers head the arched PERRIS in Black letters; all edged with a 1/4 inch (.64 cm) Black border. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 3 3/8 inches (8.57 cm) in width.

Black and green are the schools colors. The panther is the schools mascot. Black shows strength and commitment. Green describes vigor. The panther embodies and reinforces all these traits and reflects the cadets purpose to school, community and country.

A silver color metal and epoxied circular device 1 3/16 (3.02 cm) in diameter consisting of a Green background bearing a shield edged Silver blazoned as follows; Vert, a torch surmounted on the holder with an open book Argent (Silver), all within a diminished bordure of the last; all within a circular bi-parted Black scroll, inscribed PERRIS on the viewers left and HIGH SCHOOLPARISH on the viewers right in blue letters.

The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 12 February 1996.
