Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a white disc shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, an orange tiger's head and right leg extending forward outside of the disc, with teeth, eyes and eye area and blue details, within the arched inscription, RANDLEMAN" arcing to the right in blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 3 1/8 inches (7.94 cm) in width.


Symbolism

Orange and blue are the school's chosen colors and signify dependability and truth. The tiger represents courage to stand fast and the strength to carry on. The disc symbolizes the unit, and the tiger's extended paw shows that the learned ideals within the school are extended to the cadets' school and community.


Background

The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized on 21 November 1995, it was amended to update the manufacturing drawings and to add the ACU color conversions on 5 April 2019.  (TIOH Number Drawing A-10J-432)

Shoulder Loop Insignia

Description

A silver color metal and epoxied device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height consisting of a blue vertical ellipse bearing an enflamed torch, surmounted by a laurel branch, gold brown, overall a gold brown tiger springing, throughout the background, and upon arcing silver scroll turned blue, to the lower left of the device, with the inscription "TIGER PRIDE" in blue letters.


Symbolism

Orange and blue are the school's chosen colors and signify dependability and truth. The tiger is the school's mascot and stands ready to spring into action to support the school's ideals within the cadets' school and community.
