Attached below the shield, a black scroll inscribed “WHATEVER IT TAKES” in silver letters.

Red and white are Lake Highlands High School’s colors. Red symbolizes courage and white represents youth. The white star signifies the location of the school, The Lone Star state of Texas. The wildcat is the school’s mascot and is displayed climbing a hill and overcoming obstacles, underscoring the motto “Whatever It Takes.”
