Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a yellow circular shaped embroidered item 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter, a maroon wolf’s head in profile to the left and facing downwards, with white features, garnished yellow, edged and detailed black, all within a maroon designation band, bearing the inscription “LAKE HAMILTON” above and “HIGH SCHOOL” below in yellow; all within a 1/8 inches (.32 cm) yellow border.


Symbolism

Maroon and Gold are the school colors. Maroon signifies determination. Gold represents generosity. White represents purity, denoting the strength of character of the Lake Hamilton High School’s students. The wolf is the school mascot, also alluding to the fortitude of each cadets.

Blazon

On a shield shaped gold metal and epoxied device 1 1/8 inches (3.81 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Sanquine, between a cross fillet Or, in dexter chief an unfurled scroll surmounted by a quill pen bend sinisterwise point downwards, Argent; in sinister chief an atomic symbol, in the dexter base a winged foot sinisterwise, toes downwards, of the second and in sinister base Comedy and Drama masks of the last, detailed Sanguine, the Comedy mask above a bow tie Or. Crest: Above the shield, from a wreath of the colors Or
and Sanguine a wolf’s head affronteé Or, detailed Sable. Attached below the shield a black scroll with the inscription “WE LEAD THE PACK” in gold letters.


Symbolism

Maroon and Gold are the school colors. The shield sectioned background represents the four dynamics of educational system; the scroll and quill pen symbolizes the scholarship achieved by the cadets; the atomic symbol denotes the sciences; the winged foot signifies athletics and the drama masks alludes to the arts.
