On an Orange rectangular shaped embroidered item arched convexly at the top and bottom, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) navy blue border, upon three white diagonal lightning bolts in a horizontal line, a stylized horse old blue mane, tail, eye, details and shadow navy blue, with white highlights.  Attached above rectangle, an orange scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) navy blue border inscribed “CHOLLA.”  Attached below the rectangle an orange scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) navy blue border inscribed “CHARGERS” all in navy blue letters.  The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width

Orange and navy blue are the school colors.  The Charger Lightning Bolt embodies the spirit of all Cholla Alumni, past and present, to charge fearlessly toward academic and personal excellence. 

The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 2 February 2021.

On a silver metal and epoxied shield shaped device 1 3/16 inches (3 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Azure, upon a stylized horse courant Argent (Silver), a lightning bolt bendwise Tenné. Upon the shield in base, a silver scroll inscribed “CHOLLA HIGH” in Navy Blue letters.
