Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a green circular shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/16 inch (.16cm) circular white border, a stylized white building, edged white and detailed green; all within a green circular designation band edged with a 1/8” (.32 cm) white border and inscribed above “CANOGA PARK” and “HIGH SCHOOL” below in white letters. Overall diameter is 3” inches (7.62 cm).
Hunter Green and White are the school’s colors. Green symbolizes the military growth of the cadets. White represents the students’ honesty and strength of character.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 16 February 2021.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
On a shield shaped silver metal and epoxied device 1 1/4 inches in height blazoned as follows: Vert, a chevron Argent (Silver) between in dexter chief a bear passant to chief and in sinister chief a bear counter passant of the second, in base a lamp of knowledge of the last enflamed Gules. Attached to the sides and below the shield a green semi-circular scroll inscribed “CANOGA PARK HIGH SCHOOL” in silver.
Hunter green and white are school’s colors. The chevron alludes to the San Bernardino Mountains, as well as the cadet’s support to the school and the community. The lamp of knowledge represents the educational and military pathway of the cadets. The two bears alludes to the State of California.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 16 February 2021.
