Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a white embroidered disc edged with a narrow Silver Gray border, a stylized Silver Gray devil’s head, collar and details Dark Blue, eyes white; all within a Dark Blue designation band edged with a 1/8 inch (0.32cm) Silver Gray border, inscribed “NORCROSS HIGH SCHOOL”  above and “BLUE DEVILS” below; all in white. Overall diameter is 3 inches (8.26cm). 


Symbolism

Dark blue and white are the Norcross High School colors. The blue devil is the school’s mascot.

Blazon

On a silver metal and epoxied shield shaped device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Per saltire Azure (Dark Blue) and Argent, a pitchfork couped Argent (Silver). Supporters: issuant from either side of the shield, stylized flames Argent (Silver). Attached below the shield, a Dark Blue scroll inscribed “WE BELIEVE” in silver letters.


Symbolism

 Dark blue and white are the Norcross High School colors. The division of the shield forms an “X” refers to the school’s name, Norcross. The pitchfork and flames are a reference to the school’s mascot, the Blue Devil. The flames also denote the school’s mission of igniting each student’s drive to strive for high levels of success and further refers to the school’s motto, “WE BELIEVE.”
