On a shield shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (0.32 cm) blue border, blazoned as follows: Argent, a stylized tornado character Or detailed Azure and teethed of the first. Attached above the item a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (0.32 cm) blue border inscribed “POMPANO BEACH” in blue. Overall dimensions are 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in height by 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width.

The mascot of the school is the golden tornado. The tornado is a powerful force to be reckoned with and conveys the pride, drive, and passion of the students. The school’s colors are blue and gold.

The Shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 23 March 2018.

On a shield shaped gold metal and epoxied device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm)  in height blazoned as follows: Quarterly Or and Azure, in first a lamp counterchanged, in second a stylized tornado, in third a lozenge counterchanged, and in fourth chevrony Or and Azure. Attached below the shield, a blue bi-parted scroll inscribed “ABOVE & BEYOND” in Gold.

The lamp of knowledge is first and foremost; providing the light and guidance for all. The golden tornado is representative of the school’s mascot. The diamond lozenge and chevrons represent the officer and enlisted ranks, conveying the military training and education as a part of the JROTC program.
