Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Description

On a vertical rectangular shaped embroidered item arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, the stylized head of an orange and white tiger, faced to the right, eye and teeth white, detailed in black and surrounded by diagonally placed black claw scratches, from upper left to lower right. Attached above the rectangle, an orange scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, inscribed “WARSAW” in black. Attached below the rectangle, an orange scroll edged with a 1/8 inches (.32 cm) white border, inscribed “TIGERS” in black. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.3 5 cm) in width.


Symbolism

The colors orange, black and white represent Warsaw Community High School. Orange is symbolic of strength and endurance. Black denotes fierce determination in academics and athletics. White represents excellence in all endeavors. The tiger is the mascot of Warsaw Community High School, which embodies strength and determination.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 1 August 2019.
