On a disc shaped embroidered item edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) Black border, a stylized Bengal tiger head erased facing sinister Proper, edged Sable, in chief arched the inscription “BOGAN” and in base arched the inscription “BENGALS” of the last. Overall dimensions are 3” (7.62 cm) in diameter.

Black and orange are the school colors, corresponding with the school mascot, the Bengal tiger. The Bengal tiger denotes beauty, courage, and determination in the face of adversity. It further alludes to school pride and the rigorous educational offerings the school has to offer.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 17 August 2021. 

On a silver metal and epoxied shield shaped device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height blazoned as follows: Quarterly Tenné and Sable, in the first quarter a stylized tiger paw print, in the second quarter a lamp of knowledge enflamed facing dexter, in the third quarter a laurel wreath surmounted by a torch flamant, and in the fourth quarter a terrestrial globe slightly bent forward on its axis, all Argent (Silver). Above the shield, a tiger courant facing sinister Argent (Silver), striped and detailed Gris. Attached below the shield, a Black scroll doubled Orange inscribed “BOGAN TECHNICAL H.S.” in silver letters.

The lamp signifies academic excellence and the pursuit of knowledge. The torch and laurel wreath comes from the U.S. Army JROTC Shoulder Sleeve Insignia, a symbol of the JROTC Program. It further suggests leadership and the mission to “Motivate Young People to be Better Citizens.” The globe refers to the school’s participation in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, which is incorporated in every classroom. The school motto is “Vera Fide Honor”, which translates to “Truth Loyalty Honor.”

The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 17 August 2021.
