On a silver metal and epoxied shield shaped device 1-1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in width blazoned as follows: Quarterly Argent (Silver) and Gules, in the first quarter, a torch between two laurel branches at base, of the second; in the second quarter, a cardinal’s head couped to sinister, of the first; in the third quarter, a winged foot bend sinisterwise of the last and in the fourth quarter, a treble clef symbol within four eighth-notes, two and two, Gules. Attached below the shield, a black scroll doubled white inscribed “CARDINAL BATTALION” in silver letters.
