Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Blazon

On a shield shaped embroidered item, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) Silver Gray border blazoned as follows: Azure (Flag Blue), a stylized bull’s head caboshed of the first, nose ring, details, and fimbriation Argent (Silver Gray); eye and garnished Argent between two laurel branches of the last, the stems saltirewise at base; attached above the shield a dark blue scroll arched convexly at top and inscribed "PARRISH" in white letters. Overall dimensions are 3 ½ inches (8.89cm) in height by 3 inches (7.62cm) width. 


Symbolism

Navy blue, gray and white are the colors associated with Parrish Community High School. Navy blue denotes the cadet’s loyalty to the school and community. White suggests the student’s engagement in education and military preparation. The laurel branches convey honor and achievement. The bull’s head symbolizes the school’s mascot, denotes strength, fortitude, as well as signifying to the rural area with many cattle ranches and farms.

Blazon

A silver color metal and epoxied shield shaped device blazoned as follows: Per chevron debased Azure (Dark Blue) and pily of six Gules and Argent, issuant from chief a demi sun Argent (Silver), detailed and edged of the first, above two bulls combatant of the third, and in base a mullet of the last; below the shield a dark blue scroll, inscribed “PARRISH HIGH SCHOOL” in silver letters. Overall height is 1-1/8 inch (2.86cm). 


Symbolism

Navy blue, gray and white are the colors associated with Parrish Community High School. Navy blue denotes the cadet’s loyalty to the school and community. White suggests the student’s engagement in education and military preparation. Red alludes to sacrifice while the rays portray determination to succeed. The two bulls symbolizes the school’s mascot, denoting strength and fortitude, as well as signifying to the rural area with many cattle ranches and farms.  The demi sun alludes the home state of Florida.
