Shoulder Sleeve Insignia

Blazon

A white shield shaped embroidered item arched at the top edged with a 1/8-inch maroon border blazoned as followed: Argent a spartan head in profile to sinister couped at the neck of the first detailed and edged Sanguine.  Attached above the shield, a white scroll edged with a 1/8” maroon border, inscribed “WARRIORS” in maroon letters.  


Symbolism

Maroon and gray are the colors of White County High School.  Maroon symbolizes tradition and values. White signifies purity and truth. The spartan warrior is the school mascot which characterizes tenacity and a strive for excellence.

Description

A silver metal and epoxied irregular shaped device 1-1/8 inches in height: consisting of a maroon background displaying a silver Spartan helmet surmounted at base by a yellow polestar of eight points enclosed by a green laurel wreath all between two yellow arched lightning bolts. Attached above the device, a maroon scroll inscribed “WHITE COUNTY” and below “WARRIORS” all in silver.


Symbolism

Maroon and gray are the colors of White County High School.  Maroon symbolizes tradition and values. Silver Gray signifies purity and truth. The spartan warrior is the school mascot which characterizes tenacity and a strive for excellence. The polestar alludes to the direction the cadet takes under a strong guidance. The laurel symbolizes victory through true diligence. The lightning bolts represent the power gained through education and knowledge.
