Description
On a White disc 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall, the shield of the schools coat of arms Proper (Purpure, on a lozenge Argent ensigned by a crown and accosted by two angels wings Or, a crescent of the field on a chief of the second nine pallets invested of the first); forming an arc upon the upper part of the disc the designation NIAGARA UNIVERSITY in Purple capital letters.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 17 December 1957 and currently amended to include a manufactured drawing on 11 November 2014.   (TIOH Drawing Number A-10S-232)

Description
 A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall, consisting of a shield divided per bend purple and white bearing a bend inscribed NIAGARA in purple between a white cross in chief and a purple eagle in base; attached below the shield a gold scroll inscribed PRO DEO ET PATRIA in purple letters. 

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was originally authorized 24 March 1952.  It was amended to include the dimensions of the insignia on 22 March 1985 and currently amended to include manufactured drawings on 11 November 2014.
