Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
A scarlet disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border, the overall diameter 3 inches (7.62 cm), bearing a yellow and black tiger affront crouching on a gray rock above the inscription "DOTHAN" in yellow letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 1 March 1991. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-185)
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a black shield bearing the head of a red tiger affront couped. Attached below the shield a gold arced scroll inscribed "DOTHAN TIGERS" in black letters.
Black and red are the school colors. The tiger head alludes to the nickname of the athletic teams of the school. It further represents the spirit and pride demonstrated by the students of the institution.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 28 August 1979.
