Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A disc 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in diameter overall, consisting of a blue background within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border; on the blue background issuing from base, a white demi-wildcat in profile detailed blue and charged with a blue silhouette of a boll weevil. Above the wildcat's head, the inscription "EHS" in white letters.

Symbolism
The school's colors are blue and white. The wildcat's head alludes to the name of the athletic teams of the school. The boll weevil, from the Boll Weevil Monument, represents the location of the high school in Enterprise, Alabama.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 7 December 1967. It was amended to add subdued colors and metric measurements on 7 August 1992. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-274)

Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/16 inches (2.70 cm) in height consisting of a blue shield charged with a silver color wildcat's head caboshed, detailed blue. Attached below the shield, a silver color metal scroll inscribed "WILDCATS" in blue letters.

Symbolism
Blue and white (silver) are the school colors. The wildcat's head, alluding to the name of the athletic teams of the school, represents pride and spirit demonstrated by the personnel of the school.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 7 December 1967.
