Description/Blazon
On a white disc with a 1/8 (.32 cm) red border, 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall, a red fighting lizard in attack position detailed white between the inscription "DARDANELLE" above and "SANDLIZARDS" below in red letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.

Symbolism
Red and white are the school colors and the sandlizard is the school mascot.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 10 December 1986. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-39)
