Description/Blazon
On a yellow shield, a diagonal red bar from upper left to lower right in front of a white torch enflamed red, and overall a black horse's head couped at the neck; attached above the shield a yellow scroll inscribed "LINCOLN" in black letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height overall

Symbolism
The school colors are red and yellow. The mustang is the school mascot. The torch symbolizes knowledge and learning.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 10 January 1985.
