Description/Blazon
On a Purple arched-shield, a shield blazoned: Argent, a fillet pall surmounted by an escutcheon Purpure issuing from chief a White helm visor detailed Purple between in sinister a Purple pennant fimbriated White on a staff of the like bendwise sinister, and in dexter a White broad axe bendwise. Attached above the shield an arcing scroll inscribed "CASTLEMONT" in White letters and fimbriated White on the lower edge; all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) White border. The overall dimensions are 4 1/4 inches (10.80 cm) in height and 2 7/8 inches (7.30 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Purple and white are the school colors. The knight is the school mascot and reflects the military training received by the cadets.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 13 February 1992. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-246)
