Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a blue disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border a yellow disc between the inscription "GAREY" above and "VIKINGS" arcing below in yellow letters. Overall and between the inscription a white Viking head detailed blue. The overall dimension is 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in diameter.
Blue and yellow are the school colors. The Viking is the school mascot.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 9 November 1995.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Azure on a pile Or a Viking helm Azure horned of the second between in dexter a quill bendwise Yellow detailed Blue and in sinister a winged foot shod in sandal bendwise sinister Or. Attached below the shield a Gold scroll turned Blue inscribed "WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE" in Blue letters.
