Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a black disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border fimbriated with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) yellow border, the overall diameter 3 inches (7.62 cm), a tiger's face affront yellow detailed white and black within a circular inscription "CANON CITY" above and "HIGH SCHOOL" below in yellow letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 25 July 1989.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
On a Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Sable, charged in chief, dexter ombre de soleil and in sinister a lyre; in base an open book to dexter and in sinister a mountain range of three peaks, Tenn. Attached below the shield a Black scroll inscribed "CANON CITY H.S." in Gold letters.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 21 July 1950. It was amended 26 June 2001 to correct the orange chip number.
