Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a white, elliptical oval edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) on its vertical axis and 3 1/16 inches (7.78 cm) in width, a concentric white oval with a 1/32 inch (.08 cm) border, bearing the head and shoulders of a Trojan warrior facing right and projecting to base. The face is white, detailed blue. The helmet and tunic are scarlet red with blue accents and white highlights. The top of the outer oval forms a designation band inscribed "FOUNTAIN-FORT CARSON" in blue letters.

Symbolism
Red, white and blue are the school's colors. The Trojan warrior is the school's mascot.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 18 July 2001.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height by 7/8 inch (2.22 cm) in width overall consisting of a silver ellipse with axis vertical bearing an ancient helmet reversed Argent, crested Gules irradiated throughout Silver. In base a Blue scroll inscribed "SECOND TO NONE" in Silver letters.

Symbolism
Red, white and blue are the colors of Fountain-Fort Carson High School. The Trojan is the school mascot symbolized by an ancient Trojan helmet emblematic of the fierce city-state and the embodiment of wisdom, strength and invulnerability.

The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 18 July 2001.
