Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a White embroidered disc edge with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Ultramarine Blue border, 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter overall, a Bruin Bear salient affront Proper, between the inscription "BAYSHORE" arcing above and "BRUINS" arcing below in Blue.

Symbolism
Royal blue and white are the school colors. The Bruin Bear is the school mascot. The bear represents strength and determination of the students.

Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield quarterly Azure, in dexter chief a winged foot, in sinister chief a lyre, in dexter base an open book, and in sinister base a scale all or; the shield between olive leaves of the second, attached below the shield, a blue scroll inscribed "BRUINS" in Gold letters. Crest: "The Bruin Bear" Or.

Symbolism
Gold, royal blue and white are the school colors. The Bruin Bear is the school's mascot and represents strength. Then winged foot represents athletics. The lyre represents the arts. The book represents academics. The scale represents citizenship. The olive leaves represent peace.
