Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered device consisting of a silver gray vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) ultramarine blue border, an ultramarine blue wolf's face in profile with two silver gray arcing streaks from neck to jaw. Attached above, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) ultramarine blue border inscribed "DELTONA" in black letters. Attached below, a white scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) ultramarine blue border inscribed "WOLVES" in black letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Blue, black, and white (silver) are the school colors. The Wolf is the school mascot.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 13 March 2008.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned: Quarterly Sable and Argent, a wolf's head snarling erased reversed Azure, arched to chief five mullets, two mullets in the first quartering and the center mullet base metal, two mullets in the second quartering of the first, the mullets at both ends of the arch diminutive. Attached above, an Ultramarine Blue scroll inscribed "DELTONA" in base metal letters. Attached below, an Ultramarine Blue scroll inscribed "REACHING FOR THE STARS" in base metal letters. Terminating from the bottom scroll left side, a White hand and right side, a Black hand both reaching upward.

Symbolism
