Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a yellow disc with a 1/8 (.32 cm) purple border 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in diameter overall, an inner purple disc surmounted by a yellow cobra entwined on a yellow sword bendwise, handle purple, all between the inscription "FORT PIERCE CENTRAL" arcing to top and "COBRAS" arcing to base in purple letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.
Purple and yellow are the school colors. The cobra is the school mascot. The cobra entwined on the sword suggests the ROTC program at the school.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 21 March 1989.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a cobra surmounted by a shield blazoned: Quarterly Purpure, in first quarter a book of wisdom open face surmounted by a quilled feather point to base debruising the upper scroll; in second quarter the scales of justice; in third quarter a lamp of knowledge; and in fourth quarter winged foot of Hermes toe to base, all Or. Attached above a Purpure scroll inscribed "COBRA" in Gold letters. Attached below a Purpure scroll inscribed "FORT PIERCE" in Gold letters.

The book of wisdom and quill pen represents learned wisdom; the foot of Hermes represents swiftness and athletics; the lamp of knowledge symbolizes enlightenment, and the balanced scales signify fair justice.
