Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a cream colored (Chamois) vertical rectangle arched convexly at top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, an orange head of a Longhorn Steer. Attached above the rectangle, a cream colored scroll inscribed "HARMONY HS" in blue letters and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border. Attached below the rectangle, a cream colored scroll inscribed "LONGHORNS" in blue letters and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Cobalt Blue, Texas Orange and Cream are the school colors. The Longhorn Steer is the school's mascot.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 1 September 2004.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall, consisting of a shield blazoned: Per chevron abased Argent and Azure, in dexter chief an open book leafed of the first bound of the second, in sinister chief a lamp of knowledge enflamed of the like, in base the head of a Longhorn Steer affront Tenn. Below and at the sides of the shield, a Blue scroll inscribed "STRENGTH FROM EDUCATION" in Silver letters.

Symbolism
Cobalt Blue, Texas Orange and Cream are the school colors. The Longhorn is the school's mascot. The open book represents the pursuit of scholarship and the lamp represents knowledge.
