On a white rectangle shaped embroidered device arched at the top and bottom and edged with an 1/8 inch (.32 cm) maroon border; its overall dimensions being 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 3/8 inches (6.03 cm) in width, consisting of a yellow cropped Hawk's head, fimbriated and detailed maroon, eyed blue. Attached above the device, a yellow scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) maroon border and inscribed "MIAMI SPRINGS" in maroon letters. Attached below the device, a yellow scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) maroon border and inscribed "GOLDEN HAWKS" in maroon letters.
Burgundy and gold are the school colors. The Hawk is the school mascot and is a symbol of imagination, initiative and achievement.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 11 May 2004.
