A disc 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall, consisting of an inner dark blue disc edged with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) yellow border, displaying a white screaming Eagle's head in profile, and couped with golden orange eye, beak and shading dark blue, all encircled by a dark blue designation band edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border inscribed "NAPLES HIGH SCHOOL" at top and "GOLDEN EAGLES" at bottom all in yellow letters.
blue and golden yellow are the school colors. The golden Eagle is school's mascot and reflects the cadets' patriotic duty to the school, community and country.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was originally authorized 11 December 1996. It was cancelled due to a new design, updated description and symbolism and approved on 7 February 2013. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-537)
