Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a shield shaped embroidered device with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border, blazoned as follows: Per fess Azure and Tenn, a bulldog head couped at collar Argent, shaded, shaded, eyed and spikes Silver Gray, nose of the second, pupil, ear shading and collar of the first. Attached above the shield is an Orange scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border inscribed "TAYLOR COUNTY" in Blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width.

Symbolism
The school colors are blue and orange. The Bulldog is the school mascot.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel square shaped device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall, blazoned as follows: Per fess Blue and Orange top and bottom charged with a bulldog in profile wearing a spiked color Silver. Attached above and right, an Orange scroll inscribed "TAYLOR COUNTY" in base metal letters. Attached below and left, a Blue scroll inscribed with the motto "TEAMWORK MATTERS" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Blue and orange are the school colors. The Bulldog is the school mascot.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 1 December 2008.
