Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered device consisting of a green and white triangle displaying the head of a Bengal Tiger. Below the tiger is a white designation band with the inscription "ADAIRSVILLE" in green letters. The entire device is edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) orange border. Overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in height and 3 inches (7.62) in width.

Symbolism
Green and white are the school's colors. The Bengal Tiger is the school's mascot and symbolizes dauntless courage and bravery.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 24 March 2009. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-884)

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Quarterly Vert, in the first quarter an open book, in the second quarter a lyre, in the third quarter a winged foot, and in the fourth quarter two gears all Argent. Above the shield, a Bengal Tiger salient Or. Attached on each side of the shield at the top quarters a mantling of leaves of the first. Attached below the shield, a Green scroll inscribed "ADAIRSVILLE" in base metal letters.
