Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a red felt shield 3 inches (7.62 cm) wide and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) high, ten silver stars, five and five, above a couchant lion, also silver.
The colors of the school are red and silver. The ten stars and lion appear on the official seal of the school.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 26 May 1931.
Shoulder Loop Insignia
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 5/32 inches (2.94 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned "Sanguine, a cross diminished: in first quarter the seal of Saint Benedict; in second quarter the seal of the state of Georgia; in third quarter a lion passant below ten mullets, five and five; in fourth quarter an open book below a lamp Argent;" and supporting above resting on the shield a Silver eagle displayed and grasping a sheaf of Silver arrows fesswise. Above and below the shield a Maroon motto scroll conjoined on each side by a branch of olive and inscribed "BENEDICTINE" above and "PAX" below in Silver letters.
Maroon and silver are the colors associated with the school. The seals of Saint Benedict and the state of Georgia indicate the School's heritage and location. The third quarter alludes to the School's founder and the ten Benedictines who established the principles on which the current School operates. The lamp and open book represent the goals of the ROTC program.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved 28 February 1989.
