On a Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a council shield Ultramarine Blue partitioned by Gold lines quarterly, in the first quarter a torch inflamed surmounting five athletic rings entwined fesswise, in the second quarter an engineer protractor, in the third quarter a lamp of knowledge inflamed surmounting balanced scale, in the fourth quarter a harp conjoined with a drama mask smiling facing to sinister, all Gold. On a Ultramarine Blue scroll across the top inscribed "COLONELS" and on the bottom a Ultramarine Blue scroll inscribed "CASS HS" all in base metal letters, and emerging from the top the Colonel standing legs crossed leaning on his cane in his sinister hand, his dexter hand placed inside his coat, and between a mantle surrounding the shield Azure supported by two swords crossed in saltire points down Gold.
The school colors are gold and ultramarine blue. The torch with athletic rings symbolize sports and physical fitness. The engineer's protractor represents mathematics and education. The lamp surmounting the balanced scale signifies enlightenment with justice. The conjoined harp with drama mask represent music and acting.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 29 April 2009.
