Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a blue horizontal shield edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border a yellow bulldog head detailed blue between the inscription "CHAMBLEE" arcing above and "HIGH SCHOOL" arcing below in yellow letter separated by a torch also yellow. The overall dimensions are 2 7/8 inches (7.30 cm) in height by 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Blue and yellow are the school colors. The bulldog is the school mascot. The disposition of the shield resembles the letter "C" and suggests the school's name. The torch symbolizes the cadets' academic and physical pursuit of excellence.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Azure an open book charged with an atomic symbol Or, below a double-handled lamp of the like; all within a Blue arcing scroll turned Yellow inscribed on Blue "CHAMBLEE" and on Yellow "DISCERE ET SERVARE," the background of the device diapered Yellow.

Symbolism
Blue and yellow are the school colors. The shield represents the cadets as a cohesive unit, bonded to work as a team. The book and atomic symbol denote the cadets' complete academic training in the arts and scientific and technological disciplines. The lamp reflects the cadets' civic pride in school community and country.
