Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a red trapezoid shield arched at top and bottom, a white disc surmounted by a white Native American detailed red wearing red breeches with white loincloth and a black war bonnet with white and black feathers and grasping in his right hand a black bow and arrows and in his left hand a feathered war club. Attached above the shield a black arched scroll inscribed "DODGE COUNTY" in red letters and attached below the shield a black arched scroll inscribed "INDIANS" in red letters; all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in width.

Symbolism
Red, white and black are the school's colors. The Indian is the school mascot and stands for bravery and warrior-like spirit. The sun stands for excellence in education and cadet training.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 13 April 1992.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall in the shape of an arrowhead in red overlaid with the head with headdress and shoulders of an American Indian warrior in silver with black braided hair. Attached to the bottom of the device is a red scroll inscribed "UNQUESTIONABLE UNITY" in silver letters.

Symbolism
Red and white are the school's colors. "Unquestionable Unity" is the school's motto.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was approved 18 July 2006.
