Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered shield shaped device arched at top, 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width by 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height overall, a field blazoned: Argent surmounted by a rambler roadster automobile fimbriated Sable and garnished Tenn supporting two pennants on the front of the roof of the like. Attached above the shield, a White scroll inscribed "RAMBLERS" in Black letters, all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) border of the second.

Symbolism
Orange and black are the school's colors. The rambler is the school's mascot.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 11 August 2005.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Tierced in pairle reversed Tenn, Tenn and Sable, charged in dexter chief a torch, in sinister chief and open scroll in bend surmounted by a quill pen bendwise sinister point to base and in base a lion statant Or. All between a Black scroll above inscribed "LAFAYETTE" in base metal letters and a double folded Black scroll below inscribed "HIGH" on the left and "SCHOOL" on the right in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Orange and black are the school's colors. The torch denotes knowledge, the scroll and quill pen are representative of the academic interest of the school. The lion alludes to the strength of character, agility, courage and valor of the students.
