Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered shield shaped device 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 3 inches (7.62 cm) in width blazoned: Issuant from an escutcheon Argent, bordered Sable, a demi-Bengal Tiger affront Proper, encompassed by a designation band Orange, inscribed "METTER" above the Tiger in Black, all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Black border.

Symbolism
Orange and Black are the school's colors. The Bengal Tiger is the school's mascot. The Tiger symbolizes fierceness, valor, and wisdom.

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 18 July 2006.

Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Tierced in pairle reversed Tenn charged with a parchment in dexter, a lyre in sinister, and a torch flamant in base Or. Supporting the shield two tigers affront heads respectant of the last. Attached above the shield a Black scroll inscribed "TIGERS" in Gold letters. Attached below the shield a Black scroll inscribed "LEAD THE WAY" in Gold letters.
