Shoulder Sleeve Insignia
On a white disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) navy blue border, a navy blue panther's head, eyes, teeth and nose blue between an encircling inscription "PORTAL" above and "PANTHERS" below in navy blue letters. The overall dimensions are 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter.
blue and white are the school's colors. The Panther is the school's mascot.
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 16 September 2005. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-719)
Shoulder Loop Insignia
On a Silver metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inch (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a shield blazoned: A Crusader's shield Azure charged with a panther's head to dexter Sable, mouth details Gules, armed Argent. Attached around the bottom of the shield a Blue scroll inscribed "PANTHERS" in base metal letters.
The school colors are blue and white. The panther is symbolic of pride and the educated student. The Crusader's shield represents scholarship and education. The school mascot is the Panther.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 13 August 2009.
