A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield supporting a demi-hurt charged with a lamp Argent blazoned: Tenn between a bend sinister Argent in chief a parchment scroll bendwise sinister White surmounted by a quill bendwise Argent, in base a winged foot bendwise sinister of the last. Attached below the shield a Blue scroll inscribed "TURNER COUNTY" in Silver letters.
Blue, orange, and white (silver) are the school colors. The lamp of knowledge represents the academic environment of the cadets. The scroll and quill denote the commitment of the cadets to school, community, and country. The winged foot stands for health and strength necessary for commitment to leadership.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved 24 June 1996.
