Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
An embroidered device consisting of a gray circular shape edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, the overall diameter is 3 inches (7.62 cm), displaying the head and shoulders of an ancient Hawaiian Warrior in gray wearing a maroon and black headdress of the ali'i (the ruling class). In the distance is the blue water of the Pacific Ocean with one of the famous landmarks of the Hawaiian Island of Maui, the Ia'o Needle (a volcanic lava rock formation) in maroon and black. Attached above the warrior, the inscription "H.P. BALDWIN" in maroon letters. Attached below the warrior, the inscription "HIGH SCHOOL" in maroon letters.

Symbolism
Blue and maroon are the school's colors. The school's motto is "Ha'aheo O Maui".

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 29 October 2004.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Sanguine, bearing a hurt out of a base wavy eight and five, a volcanic lava rock formation, la'o Needle (a famous landmark of the Hawaiian Island of Maui) emitting from sinister base the head and shoulders of a Hawaiian Warrior facing dexter all Or. The shield resting upon a Gold colored metal draped beneath a Gold crown above, and below a Gold scroll inscribed "HA'AHEO O MAUI" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Blue and maroon are the school's colors. The school's motto is "Ha'aheo O Maui" (Pride of Maui).
