Description/Blazon
On a gold disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, the overall diameter 3 inches (7.62 cm), a gold representation of a Cavalier, outlined and detailed blue below the inscription "CAVALIERS" in blue letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 5 February 1973.
