Description/Blazon
A circular device 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter overall consisting of a purple disc edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border, on which is the white head of an eagle in profile with yellow eye and beak, and red tongue, on the neck of the eagle a purple letter "E."

Symbolism
Purple and white are the colors of Englewood High School. The head of the eagle alludes to the nickname of the School's athletic team. The letter "E" represents Englewood.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 12 April 1973.
