Shoulder Loop Insignia
A silver color metal and enamel device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall consisting of a rectangular shield pointed in base between two arced scrolls, one above and one below; on the shield a yellow rifle and sabre in saltire surmounted by a yellow lamp enflamed red, all above a silver open book within six red lightning flashes all within a green border; a chief checky alternating silver and black. Inscribed on the arced scroll above the shield "ENTER TO LEARN" and on the scroll below the shield "GO FORTH TO LEAD" in yellow letters.
The shoulder loop insignia was authorized 7 June 1976.
