Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
On a blue embroidered vertical rectangle arched convexly at the top and bottom and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border, a gray cougar detailed blue. The cougar's tail forms the letter "C" and the letters of the alphabet spell "OUNTY" with all combined to spell "County" in gray letters. Attached above the rectangle, a blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border inscribed "LETCHER" in gray letters. Attached below the rectangle, a blue scroll edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gray border inscribed "CENTRAL" in gray letters. The overall dimensions are 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height.

Symbolism
Blue, black and silver are the school's colors. The cougar is the school's mascot, and is symbolic of the cadets' fierce, winning spirit.

Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned: Azure a palette between to dexter a parchment and quill pen and to sinister the faade of a building above a barrulet enhanced Argent a chief of the field charged with a laurel branch of the second. Attached above the shield, a standing cougar reguardant Silver. Attached below the shield, a Blue scroll inscribed "COUGARS" in base metal letters.

Symbolism
Royal blue, black and silver are the school's colors. The cougar symbolizes courage and endurance. The laurel branch is the ancient symbol of honor and victory. The scroll and quill represent dedication to education. The building faade alludes to upholding tradition of democracy through citizenship.
