On a blue shield edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border, a white stylized letter "M" with a red and yellow sword centered vertically on the letter. Over the sword is a royal crown in red and yellow. Above is a tab incorporated with the shield inscribed "MASON COUNTY" in white letters, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) red border. The overall dimensions are 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 51/6 inches (5.87 cm) in width.
Royal blue and white are the school colors. The red represents courage and gallantry. The yellow represents excellence, honor, intellect, loyalty and wisdom.
