A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of an orange vertical rectangle edged with a gold border of silhouette trees to the sides and city skyline at top, supporting a blue dome, overall a gold torch enflamed red surmounted in base by the end view of a bisected tractor and barn beside a gold silo, all above two blue horizontal wavy lines. Blue and orange are the school colors. The city scape and agribusiness symbols reflect the school population and county economy. The torch of knowledge between them suggests the cadets as future leaders in the community. The wavy lines symbolize Lake Cumberland, a prominent landmark in the area.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 28 June 1996.
