Celeste, a chevronel between a parchment unrolled bendwise sinister surmounted by a quill pen bendwise, a winged foot bendwise, and in base a sword palewise point to base surmounted at the crossguard by a pair of scales in balance all removed Argent, the chevronel debruised at the top by a cougar in three-fourths perspective Proper, between two sprigs of garland Vert, the ends superimposed over the top edge of the shield. Attached below the shield a scroll Sable doubled Argent, inscribed "TRUMAN" in base metal.
Light blue and white are the school colors. The parchment and quill signify scholarship, the winged foot symbolizes sportsmanship and the scales indicate a balanced education that leads to citizenship, with the garland to chief meaning leadership. The cougar is the school mascot and describes the cadets' fierce commitment to the unit, the student body, the school and the community.
The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 16 May 2002.
