Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A white circular insignia edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) blue border, the overall diameter 2 15/16 inches (7.46 cm), on which is the head and shoulder of an Indian wearing full headdress, white garnished golden orange, outlined and detailed blue, feathers light blue with golden orange tips, buckskin white detailed blue.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was authorized 26 June 1991. (TIOH Drawing Number A-10J-205)




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A gold color metal and enamel insignia 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a white shield with a cowboy grasping mailbags leaping astride a galloping horse affront all gold with a gray shadow. Attached below the shield a gold scroll inscribed "ST. JOSEPH HIGH SCHOOLS" in blue letters.

Symbolism
The colors and design elements are taken from the seal formerly associated with St. Joseph High Schools.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was approved 19 September 1980.
