Shoulder Sleeve Insignia


Description/Blazon
A white rectangular device with white arched scroll attached above and below, all edged with an 1/8 inch (.32 cm) green border, the overall dimensions 3 5/8 inches (9.21 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width, on which is a green diagonal lightning flash extending from the viewer's upper left to lower right surmounted by the head and upper body of a white rabbit with ears alert, detailed gray, with black pupil, nose and mouth. On the upper scroll the inscription "BENSON" and on the lower scroll "HIGH SCHOOL" in green letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.

Background
The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 26 April 1983.




Shoulder Loop Insignia


Description/Blazon
A gold base metal and enamel insignia 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a shield divided diagonally white and blue, the white charged with an American bison and the blue with a flaming torch, both gold. Attached above the shield is a white scroll inscribed "ROTC" and below is another scroll inscribed "OMAHA HIGH SCHOOLS," both inscriptions in gold letters.

Background
The shoulder loop insignia was approved 9 May 1955 for all Omaha, Nebraska, Public High Schools.
